Abbey Road
The brief for this garden was very simple - if the design was sympathetic with the Edwardian house and contained some blue flowers the client would be happy. The client put his full trust in us and gave us a free reign to come up with a suitable design. The result includes a water feature wrapped around a central paved area outside the main conservatory which has a bespoke laser cut stainless steel walkway over it. The water is all lit and at night the walkway appears to float. The hard landscape materials were sympathetic to the surroundings and the bricks matched the house as closely as possible. The planting gave a more architectural and structured look, which, along with the stainless steel gives the garden a modern feel. The photos do not show the blue flowers as they were taken in very early spring..
